| Each firing creates six square beads, six round beads and two cabochons. The beads are small, each measuring about 5/8 inch (15mm) in diameter. Because of design of this mold, the beads almost never require any grinding or polishing. This design coordinates beautifully with all of the Colour de Verre Jewelry designs including their Pillow Pendants, Geometric Beads and Small Ring Beads. They can be strung on leather, rubber, or silk, or even stainless steel ball chain.
The mold itself measures 4.5 x 7 x 1 inches . The fill weight for each of the six squares is 2-3 grams, for the circles, 1 to 2 grams and for the two cabochons, 1 gram. |
