| NS-53 Forest Green is a very saturated, fully-opaque green that just might be the most versatile green in the market today. It can be worked in any flame without fear of discoloration. It is recommended to stay in a neutral flame. It works well for encased applications. It is great for stringer applications and thinly blown work. For a neat effect, try layering NS-03 Multi over NS-53 Forest Green. These frits and powders have been formulated for use with Pyrex®, Duran®, Kimax®, Northstar® or any other glass with a similar coefficient of thermal expansion (33). Using frits and powders provide the hot glass artist with a means of adding color and/or texture to a piece quickly and easily.
