| Earthenware mold created to bend glass to form free-standing glass designs. 8.5" l x 5" w x 4.5" t. Treat the mold with a quality glass separator according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If a fused design is to be bent, the fusing process must be done in a firing prior to bending. For best results slump a design that is 10.5" long. A recommended firing schedule for bending fusible glass COE 90 or 96 using this mold:
rate 1 - 250 temp 1 - 1100 hold 1 - 10 min
rate 2 - 250 temp 2 - 1240 hold 2 - 25 min
rate 3 - 9999 temp 3 - 960 hold 3 - 90 min
rate 4 - 100 temp 4 - 820 hold 4 - 1 min |
