High Quality 8" round earthenware drop ring. Treat with high quality glass separator. Prop the drop ring in a kiln over kiln shelf lined with Thin Fire Paper. Place glass on drop ring and heat to allow glass to drop through the center of the drop ring to desired effect.
Use with the 8" Plate Ring Mold (item# CPGM86) to create a raised, elegant vessels. Set up in your kiln so glass blanks can drop through the ring mold and fills the draping mold. Mold has a unique shape so that the finished piece includes a foot, or slightly raised pedestal, rather than having a simple flat bottom. 8" diameter.
